Like I said, we had been taking. He was across the room, I, on the other side staring at the near wall. Out of the corner of my eye I watched him look at me intently, staring, waiting for me to look back. His lips moved slowly and his soft voice grasped me.
“You are beautiful.” I flinched in shock and suddenly he was right there beside me.
“Can I not tell you that? That you are beautiful?You flinched. Am I that repulsive to you?”

I must have fallen asleep. Fear struck my heart. This dream was extremely lucid, just like the rest.
I whipped my head back and forth, my long, white rivulets of hair following closely behind. My awkward spider limbs twitched uncomfortably in terror.
The inky blackness didn't stir. I squeezed my eyes shut in horrid anticipation. The other nightmares always started as soon as I fell asleep, so why was this one torturing me with holding back?
